Skin 101 Diamond Peel Review

As my husband and I were passing by San Joaquin, Pasig City. I saw this advertisement "DIAMOND PEEL P1,000 (with facial & glycolic acid peel) BUY 1 TAKE 1.

I was surprised because of the "cheapness" of the Diamond Peel.  I have been a Flawless Power Peel Customer ever since and the price is more than double.

Anyway, like any prudent kikay woman will do-I checked the web for the reviews (if it's in the internet, it must be true! hehehe) Well, it's 50-50. There's no super negative review about it so I called the Clinic for an appointment. The lady who answered the phone said I can go there anytime so I did..

The place is inconspicuous.  I chose the Pasig Branch because it is near my home and I rather go there than their mall outlets.

The interior is quite formal in the clinic, not girly compared to Flawless.  The staff are wearing lab coats.  But 2 minutes inside, you will feel the homely atmosphere.  The staffs are friends and you can hear their non stop "chika".  They are approachable and friendly.

Unlike in Flawless wherein the customers are in just one big room (I'm sure there is a private room but I haven't tried).  In Skin 101, you will have your procedure in one small room.  It's a good thing because you can relax.  However, you can still hear the "chika" of the staffs.

JAJA, the one who did my facial, cleaned my face using different brushes (I like it).  Then, steamed.  Afterwards, she spread the glycolic acid peel in my face.  It was itchy and uncomfortable.  But she wiped it with Cetaphil after 5 to 10 seconds.

She started with the pricking.  I can say it was 7 (from 1 to 10 in pain level).  But it is ok for me and I can handle it (my doctor said I have high pain tolerance).  It took awhile.  And she pricked those places where the other aesthetician never pricked before.. But i like it.  I saw my face so swollen..but at least there is no blackheads or whiteheads in sight.  I hate it when after facials, I can still see some blemishes.

There was also free pimple injection (it was my first time).  It was tolerable.

It was followed by the Diamond Peel.  Just the same procedure as Power Peel.

All in all, I had a good experience and I will definitely come back (I still have one session).  I find it so cheap with all the procedures they do.  Plus my face is so clean, blemishes free :)
